Megan Cook understands the importance of storytelling. With a BA in Sociology and a passion for people, she uses her storytelling skills to help East Tennessee nonprofits share their missions, services, and impact through a variety of mediums.

Megan developed and honed her storytelling skills through her internship with Remote Area Medical and full-time job with Muse Knoxville. She has expertise in writing, editing, and visual storytelling; and is proficient in email marketing, social media, and select customer relationship management softwares.

Today, Megan helps various nonprofits craft and share their stories through creative consulting services like grant writing, graphic design, social media management, email marketing, external and internal communications, and more. She has served a variety of organizations working for equity in health, education, and the arts; and has successfully written state and local government, private foundation, and corporate sponsorship grants for several nonprofits.

Currently, Megan offers freelance services on a limited basis. She also works as the Grants Administrator for Rx Foundation, a private grantmaking foundation that supports health equity and advocacy work.

When she's not behind her computer, Megan is continuing her education, reading nonfiction books, listening to podcasts, and making art. She is currently on the Community Impact Committee for Choice Health Network. She's got a heart for people, and a well crafted story (visual or written) brings a tear to her eyes.
